Happy and Glorious!!!'s Jubilee weekend and I thought we should make an effort to celebrate!
I've never met the Queen and I'm not likely to but 60 years as Queen is pretty impressive.
So here we go with the red, white and blue!

Funky foam flowers cut with spellbinders blossom dies and fixed to garden canes with cable ties.

Next a patriotic wreath. This was made by wrapping a frisbee toy with a plastic table cloth cut into strips and more funky flowers hot glued in place.

So here is the finished look....ready for any royal visit!!
I think I could probably get away with leaving them up all summer as it will soon be time for the Olympics.
I had fun....hope you like it too.

Pretty and girly

I was asked to make a card for my friend's, pretty, with her name on it and "happy 1st birthday"....thought I'd better make a big card to fit all that on!!
Here it is.....

The image is from Lili of the Valley and coloured with promarkers.
The bunting stamps are Anna Griffin...they came with the alphabet stamps and look very cute!
Bakers twine, crystals and ribbon.........definitely pink and girly!!

A little fairy

Just a little card today.......sometimes I like to make small pretty things.

I used a spellbinders die for the foldback card so that half is cut and half embossed.
I think the effect is really pretty and frames the little fairy very nicely.
Just patterned paper and peeloffs to finish.......hope you like her!!

Mannequins on canvas

Had a crafting night out with friends where we all had a go at decorating canvases.
Messy but fun!
This is what I made....

It was fun splodging paint about!!  The images were stamped on tissue paper and Mod Podged in place.
The tissue paper just disappears into the background.....very effective.
I think I'll try this again.

Just a quick post to show another card for my mens collection.
I can't remember where this cute little fella came from but I thought he could be used for more than St Patrick's Day.

The background is stamped with celtic images using versamark, fibres for a little texture and some card candi to finish off.
One friendly leprechaun!!

Just a quick post to show a thankyou card I made to send to my daughter.....if you're reading this Niamh stop now unless you've collected your post!!!

I wanted to make something flat so it wouldn't cost a fortune to post. I also wanted it to be bright as the weather has been so grey and grim :(

The papers came free with a magazine and I tried out my new edgeability dies. I've got one set but I really like them.......hmmm.......may need more!!
The cute little birdie is a Martha Stewart punch.
Hope you like it :)

Pretty in purple

I seem to have spent far too much time at work in the last few days.............too much work, not enough playtime!! Today though I had a very pleasant morning at my local craft club and also made a birthday card for a friend. I tried out some of my new dies - spellbinder bauble blossoms, bitty spiral flowers and some memory box flower dies..... I like flowers!!
Here is the card I made and I was very pleased with how it turned out.

The circle in the middle is spellbinders parisian die and it is cut on the fold and then embossed.
I finished it off with pearly dots around the edges.

hope you like it!!
